(Bradford, ON, May 3, 2017)

The Bradford Rattlers have re-signed power forward Oskar Rzekanowski to a contract for the 2017-18 season. Rzekanowski notched 26 points in his rookie season last year including 7 goals and 19 assists.

At 19 years of age, the Polish born prospect is expected to play a bigger role on this year's roster. At times last year, he was able to dominate games with his skill and physicality. "Oskar has a ton of potential in his game," said GM Sean Werth commenting on the signing, "if he can find some consistency to his game he has all the tools to be a top player for our club."

Rzekanowski has been playing for the Polish World Junior Team the previous two years and was playing in the Czech Republic prior to joining the Rattlers.

The Rattlers have concluded tryouts in Slovakia and Czech Republic each of the past two weekends and will be announcing the newest additions from those skates shortly.
