(Bradford, ON, Apr 19, 2017)

The Bradford Rattlers have completed a trade with the Temiscaming Titans to bring veteran defenceman Hampus Fagrell to the Rattlers.

To Bradford: Hampus Fagrell
To Temiscaming: 2nd & 4th Round Draft Picks in 2017 Entry Draft

Fagrell is a physical stay at home defenceman. Standing 6'4", 240lbs, the Swedish born Fagrell is expected to play a big role on this year's blue line. Hampus was a force on the Titan's blue line in the first round playoff series last year.

Hampus has spent the last two seasons in the GMHL with the Titans, playing 67 games and notching 39 points. He was Temiscaming's second leading point getter from the blue line last season.

Prior to coming to Canada, the 21 year old had played pro and junior hockey in Sweden.

The Rattlers AAA prospect team begins training next week and will be in Niagara Falls competing in the Bauer Challenge on April 28th. Stay tuned for all of the results and more player signings.
