The Bradford Rattlers will kick off the 2015-2016 season hosting the Orangeville Ice Crushers on September 13th at 7:30pm at the Home of the Rattlers, the BWG Leisure Centre.

The Ice Crushers, formerly known as the Americans, are a long-time rival of the Rattlers. The lifetime record between the Rattlers & Orangeville has Bradford ahead 13 wins to 1 lose.

Bradford is also wrapping up a busy few weeks -- signing three more players. Joining #RattNation this season will be Jamie Babcock, Matt Barrette & Jake Awan.

Jamie Babcock is a hardworking players signed from the Georgina Midget hockey system -- the same program rookie Rattler Colton Irvine was scouted from. Babcock is a reliable forward born in 1997. Babcock participated in the 2015 Toronto TEP Showcase where he recorded 1 point through 4 games, the same tournament the Rattlers AAA Prospect team participated in.

Matt Barrette  is a late '97 born forward hailing from Ottawa, Ontario. Barrette was signed to the Rattlers earlier in July from Midget hockey in Ottawa. Matt will develop through his rookie season with the Rattlers.  

Jake Awan is a '98 born forward entering his rookie season with the Bradford Rattlers. Awan comes from Ogdensburg, New York and is a product of the Louisville Lightning midget program. Last season Awan scored an impressive 34 points (17g, 17a) in 32 games receiving interest from several hockey teams. Jake stands 5'11" weighing 180lbs.
